When most people think of rocking chairs, they are more often than not likely to think of elderly or aged old women sitting on the chair, knitting away with her yarn and needles.  Contrary to that perception, however, there are in fact customized rocking chairs meant specifically for the use of babies or infants, and these are what people refer to commonly as baby rocking chairs.
